Dr. Paul C Shrimpton

Dr Shrimpton has been closely involved for more than 30 years in the development and promotion of patient dosimetry and protection in diagnostic radiology. He has been instrumental in the periodic performance of UK national patient dose surveys and the formulation of reference doses for x-ray and CT examinations.
He has participated actively in expert groups on aspects of medical exposures convened by the EC, UNSCEAR, ICRP, IAEA and WHO.

Prof. Hilde Bosmans, PhD
Professor of Medical Physics at the University of Liège, Belgium. Certified expert in medical radiation physicist. Responsable for medical radiation physics in Katholieke Universiteit, Leuven and in several network hospitals. QC for screening mammography in 96 mammography units. Co-author of many internationally accepted protocols. Member of EUREF, the Working group on Breast cancer screening of the Flemish government and scientific advisory board of the Federal Agency.
